Time flies when you're at the beach!

Yes, I know it's been too long since a post we've been very busy!!! We enjoyed a wonderful week long vacation to Florida. You have probably never seen three whiter people in your life (photos below to prove it).
We spent some quality time with Nana (mom's mom :) & Baba & Mary Lou (mom's grandparents. Cameron loved playing with all the brass antiques at their house, he knows his antiques!
Our days consisted of a trip to the pool & walks along the beach where Cameron loved to watch the waves and let us lift him up and down into the ocean, he'd then tire out and quickly burrow into one of our shoulders and fall asleep it was precious.

We even got a visit from Grandpa Dominick - he drove all the way from Naples (3 hours) to see Cameron. They had a good time sharing a sippy cup! And we visited with Tempie and Carl (friends from HS) who are expecting a little girl any day now! It was so nice to see them.

We returned home to Chicago to below freezing temps! ugh!! Cameron is doing well keeping up with his therapies and we are preparing for his 6 month IFSP (service plan) review on Feb 18th. This will be a good time for us to hear how everyone thinks Cameron is doing and give us his "age level" for various areas. We've been doing some of the tests at recent therapy visits and he has made some huge leaps in PT which is great. The PT has ordered something called AFOs these are similar to the orthotics he has now that go around his foot/ankle but they will go up to just below his knee. We'll see how he does with them and if after some time progress is not what we hope we might consider a walker they said - we'll see.

Cameron is very good at "gagging" himself to get attention, when he succeeds and throws up it's no fun, but we are doing our best to ignore these attempts for attention. Fun stuff!

Hard to believe it's almost February!! That will put us at just about 3 months away from baby #2, CRAZY!!! - the latest on that front is that after many ultrasounds everything is looking good no signs of anomalies. We have one more to go at the end of February. The only concern at this point is pre-term labor, I was taken off the progestrone shots due to an allergic reaction. Which is unfortunate given that the Dr. is concerned about some signs of early labor. I have not been put on bed rest, but told to limit my time on my feet. I am working on it but let's be honest it's hard with a very active toddler. keep your fingers crossed that we don't have another baby who can't wait to meet us!
