Happy Mother's Day

Our first Mother's Day as a family was wonderful!
Being a Mother brings a new meaning to the day, it certainly makes me appreciate even more how wonderful and giving my own mother is. And however difficult and trying being a mother can be at times there is truly no greater love than that of a child.

You hear this very often but I can see with great honesty it is so true, given the challenges we have faced together with Cameron there have certainly been some difficult times, but when you see your own child smile, hear his laugh, all you feel is love and happiness, you forget about the lack of sleep, the days at the hospital, the never ending Doctor visits.

This past week has been one of the more trying ones with multiple visits to Children's and there are a lot of decisions we need to make relative to the pending surgery. I am not going to get into all the details today, it's just too much.
Cameron goes in Wednesday morning for two tests - please say some prayers for him as one of them is going to be rather difficult on him.

We had a wonderful day today and Cameron was an absolute charmer. Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there.
